HTML is FUN!!

The Kardashian family knows how to generate buzz. So when word spread that Kim's little sister, Kendall Jenner, had become a bikini model, it wasn't at all surprising. That is, until we remembered the girl's only 15-years-old! Now we're left to wonder: Is Kendall too young to pose in a skimpy swimsuit?
But first: yesterday's poll. He may be new to the game, but 63 percent of Zimbio readers voted Robert Pattinson the world's greatest vampire. This number becomes more impressive when you consider Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise both played bloodsuckers in the past. And let's not even get started on Keifer Sutherland's fantastically bleached-blonde performance in Lost Boys.

But back to bikinis. If it weren't for Sports Illustrated, would the world have the same respect for beautiful women in skimpy swimwear? The answer: a highly probable yes. But the magazine's iconic special edition has certainly helped. Yet if there's one thing the magazine has never done, it's use a 15-year-old model.

If you haven't seen the shot of Kendall Jenner in a bikini, head over to Kim K's blog. You'll quickly notice the socialite's jubilant endorsement: "How stunning does she look!?!? I couldn’t be more proud!!!!" she posted. Notice the five exclamation marks. Those mean she's SUPER excited.

The matches, involving 24 teams, are being played through Saturday at Horse Guards Parade, just yards from Downing Street where British leaders were meeting in emergency session to decide how to deal with the ongoing riots in London and other English cities. Brazil and Mexico played the first match.

Brazilian Taiana Lima, 27, also was pleased with the venue despite the unrest. "The organization is great and the crowd have been very good," she said.
Members of the International Olympic Committee said security is a top priority and they were confident the 2012 Games would go smoothly.
Still, some British athletes expressed concern.
"A bloody disgrace, a minority of hooligans are sending out bad message for the rest of the country. World eyes 2012!", double Olympic track champion Kelly Holmes said in a message on Twitter.

Mikoh Swimwear is apparently one of ’ favorite brand. She’s been name-dropping them on Twitter all summer, no doubt to score a sponsorship or free swimwear and, hey, it worked.

10. BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT IN LIFE SO FAR?
I have been blessed to have expericened so much in my short lifetime. I’ve worked very hard for everything I have and nothing has come easy. My biggest accomplishment though has been, to quote the Notebook…”I’ve loved another with all my heart, and to me, this has always been enough.” What’s life without love? You can accomplish everything you want in life, but without anyone to share it with, what’s it really worth.

 Beach volleyball
It's the one Olympic sport that even has cheerleaders.
NBC, no dummy in the big scheme of things, is showcasing beach volleyball in these Olympics, giving the sport more prime-time coverage than, say, field hockey or softball, which is played fully clothed.
Reports the Vancouver Sun:

President George W. Bush went a couple of days ago. He wasn't chased by cheerleaders, but one of the U.S. women's team bent over to let him give her the traditional butt-pat for good luck. But with photographers standing by, Bush chose instead to tap her on the middle of the back with the back of his hand.

Poker and casino site Bodog.com has announced its sponsorship of one of the most prolific duos in the world of women’s beach volleyball – April Ross and Jennifer Kessy.
After winning two of the four international events this season, 2009 Beach Volleyball World Champions Kessy and Ross headed home to Orange County to play in last weekend’s Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) event in Huntington Beach, California. And for proud sponsors Bodog, home court advantage at Surf City USA was all it took for these girls to win their first AVP title of the year. The duo defeated top-seeded Misty May-Treanor and Nicole Branagh

Bikini Atoll is one of the 29 atolls and five islands that compose the Marshall Islands. These atolls of the Marshalls are scattered over 357,000 square miles of a lonely part of the world located north of the equator in the Pacific Ocean. They help define a geographic area referred to as Micronesia.

Once the Marshalls were discovered by the outside world, first by the Spanish in the 1600's and then later by the Germans, they were used primarily as a source for producing copra oil from coconuts. The Bikini islanders maintained no substantial contacts with these early visitors because of Bikini Atoll's remote location in the very dry, northern Marshalls. The fertile atolls in the southern Marshalls were attractive to the traders because they could produce a much larger quantity of copra. This isolation created for the Bikinians a tightly integrated society bound together by close extended family association and tradition, where the amount of land you owned was a measure of your wealth.
