Beach activities

Today was our first break, we have had sun all day, cruised the Ipanema and the Copacobana beaches. I have been keeping my eye out for the famous g-strings, but unfortunately, the hot bodied must also be employed, because all I saw was sour wedgies and cellulite… Sara didn’t do too much better, and only got the previous generation of stud muffins (50+ bracket, which is also where I was looking).

 Water is freezing!
With a cruizy day like that, we decided that tomorrow we head to Ilha Grande so we can hang by the pool, and hopefully get some dives in.
Before I sign off, I just wanted to comment on Rio in general. It is by far the most expensive place we have been too in SA! But it is beautiful! And the food is awesome! We are eating so much nice fruit and food, the likes which we haven’t seen for quite a while! And with that, we only have 9 more days left here in South America. With any luck, we will post again before we leave here, but we are not promising!

Bridget matches a colorful vintage wrap top with high-waisted shorts to give a tropical sailor look to her beach escape day. She likes to have fun when picking out a bikini or beach outfit, and be inspired by the place she’s visiting. Bridget’s advice for fashion when visiting new places is to embrace the different cultures and scenery and give your typical T-shirt and slippers look a vacation and live a little!
“Vintage looks are always a great way to mix things up. They are perfect for pairing with a bikini and are an easy way to look chic on the beach. Accessorizing is just as important for your look. From a funky pair of sunglasses to oversized beach bags, I love to embrace that beach babe look from the ’60s. Most importantly, whenever you can wear heels, do it! Stilettos and sunglasses are the key survival accessories to help you maintain a sexy beach look.

Bridget recreated Honey Rider from James Bond while in Jamaica. They even had a bikini custom made to look exactly like the original! Wearing that bikini and replicating some of Honey’s classic poses, Bridget really looked like she came right out of the movie.

Of all the things that Bridget Marquardt from the Playboy Mansion could have filmed about the Gold Coast in Australia, what was the first thing that came to mind? The famous iconic Gold Coast Meter Maids!!
As the Eiffel Tower is to Paris and the Statue of Liberty is to New York, Bridget and her production team believe the world famous Meter Maids are everything Gold Coast.
Marquardt requested the Meter Maids to film with her for her exciting new travel show called Bridgets Sexiest Beaches.
The former Playboy Playmate donned a gold bikini and the Akubra. She spent the afternoon as a Meter Maid, feeding the parking meters and experiencing what the Meter Maids are famous for saving the tourists from parking tickets and promoting everything that is Gold Coast!

Despite Brazil's tragic loss to France in the World Cup the week prior, several Brazilians sported necklaces with a map of Brazil and the gold and green of their homeland's flag. But, since it was July 4th, one woman expressed her dual citizenship in a red, white, and blue bikini topped by a baseball cap with "Brasil" emblazoned on the front.
Tie-side bikinis continue to make a strong showing, often coupled with a bandeau top cinched in the middle and tying around the neck. Alternatively, the clean lines of banded side bottoms and halter tops are becoming more popular.
One thing that hasn't changed much over the years is the backside of the Brazilian bikini. Not to be confused with a thong, it's a small triangle designed to enhance the voluptuous curves of the posterior. (Note: must be worn with a Brazilian wax job to avoid unsightly fuzz.)
Brazilian men have brought racing style swimsuits to North Shore beaches, though they haven't caught on with the American big wave surfers who still prefer baggie board shorts.
The only element of a Brazilian beach ensemble that offers much coverage this season is the sunglasses with their rounded rectangular lenses and thick arms.Nearby Acland Street is a bustling, vibrant street with an eclectic mix of restaurants, wine bars and continental cake shops. During the day the streets are lined with people drinking lattes; at night they’re buzzing with clubbers and night owls making the most of the pubs, bars and clubs often featuring international bands or DJs.
